Natania Hoffman, versatile violoncellista di levatura internazionale, ha suonato e insegnato in oltre 20 paesi in 4 continenti. Si è esibita come solista con l’Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, la Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, la Terre Haute Symphony e altre orchestre. Ha completato inoltre un Artist Diploma presso la Chapelle Musicate Reine Elisabeth sotto la guida di Gary Hoffman.
Come camerista, ha suonato in Europa, negli Stati Uniti, in Cina, in Nuova Zelanda e in India, insieme ad artisti come Giuliano Carmignola, Augustin Dumay, Joseph Kalichstein, Gilles Apap, Mihaela Martin e Boris Garlitsky, in festival quali l’Open Chamber Music a Prussia Cove, la Folle Journée de Nantes, il Ravinia Steans Institute of Music e l’Encuentro de Santander.
Violoncellista del Trio Agora dalla sua fondazione, la Hoffman ha vinto con questo ensemble il primo premio assoluto al concorso internazionale di musica da camera Anton Rubinstein del 2018 a Düsseldorf. La discografia del Trio include “Connecting Identities” (Odradek Records, 2020) e “Hotel Tango” (Accentus Music, 2023). Con pianista Monika Dars ha pubblicato il primo album, “Resistance”, nel 2024 (Etcetera Records).
Natania è stata ospite nei programmi radiofonici “Puisque Vous Avez Du Talent” con Laurent Graulus (Musiq3, Belgio) e i programmi “Talente und Karrien” e “Meine Musik” con Kamilla Kaiser (RBB Kultur, Germania). Sue esibizioni sono state trasmesse da Ö1 Klassik-Treffpunkt (Austria), Radio 4 (Paesi Bassi), SWR (Germania) e LRT Klasika (Lituania). Appassionata all’insegnamento, è docente di musica da camera presso il Conservatorio “Vecchi-Tonelli” di Modena e di violoncello presso il conservatorio “F. Vittadini” di Pavia.
È membro della giuria del concorso internazionale di musica da camera “Luigi Nono” dal 2021. Natania Hoffman ha ricevuto borse di studio di Neustart Kultur e #Musikerzukunft der Deutschen Orchester-Stiftung. Ha partecipato inoltre a molti progetti interdisciplinari, come il progetto Musical Theater “La Bohème” (Schauspiel Leipzig, Anna-Sophie Mahler, Anna Jelena Schulte), le Micro-Opere “Physical Education” / Neue Szenen (Deutsche Opera, Dennis, Krauß, Juta Pranulytė) e “Unknown, I live with you” (The Airport Society, Krystian Lada, Katarina Glowica), tra gli altri.

Natania Hoffman is a versatile, thought-provoking musician whose performances and masterclasses have been heard in over twenty countries spanning four continents. As a soloist, Natania has performed with the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, among others. She completed an Artist Diploma the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth under the guidance of Gary Hoffman.
An avid chamber musician, Natania toured Europe, the USA, China, New Zealand, and India, alongside artists such as Giuliano Carmignola, Augustin Dumay, Joseph Kalichstein, Gilles Apap, Mihaela Martin, and Boris Garlitsky.
Additionally, she has participated in festivals such as Open Chamber Music at Prussia Cove, the Folle Journée de Nantes, the Ravinia Steans Institute of Music, and the Encuentro de Santander. She is a member of Trio Agora, which was the first prize winner of the 2018 Anton Rubinstein competition in Düsseldorf, Germany. Her discography with Trio Agora includes “Connecting Identities,” (Odradek Records, 2020) and “Hotel Tango” (Accentus Music, 2023). Additionally, her debut with pianist Monika Dars, “Resistance,” was released with Etcetera Records in 2024.
Natania Hoffman was a featured guest on the radio programs “Puisque vous avez du talent” hosted by Laurent Graulus (Musiq3, Belgium), “Hoffmeisters Empfehlungen” hosted by Martin Hoffmeister (MDR, Germany), and the programs “Talente und Karrieren” and “Meine Musik” hosted by Kamilla Kaiser (rbb Kultur, Germany); additionally, her performances have been broadcasted by Radio 4 (the Netherlands), SWR (Germany) and LRT Klasika (Lithuania), among others. A dedicated teacher, she is professor of chamber music at the “Vecchi-Tonelli” Conservatory of Modena, and of cello at the “F. Vittadini” Conservatory of Pavia (Italy).
She is additionally a jury member of the international “Luigi Nono” chamber music competition. Natania Hoffman is a recipient of scholarships from Neustart Kultur and #MusikerZukunft der Deutschen Orchester-Stiftung. Additionally, she has participated in many interdisciplinary projects, such as the musical theater project “La Bohème” (Schauspiel Leipzig, Anna-Sophie Mahler, Anna Jelena Schulte), chamber opera premieres of “Physical Education” / Neue Szenen (Deutsche Oper, Dennis Krauß, Juta Pranulytė) and “Unknown, I live with you” (The Airport Society, Krystian Lada, Katarina Glowica), among others.
